Sowing the seeds of Love

In the past two weeks, I have learned there is a big difference between accepting life as it is and being at peace with it. With acceptance comes the power to let go, the seed that grows peace. With peace comes the power to fully embrace Life, the seed of Love.

I had so many questions, now they’re gone. I’m left with the deep knowing that all is as it should be.
I was haunted by the shortness of life, now it’s gone. As I breath in, I feel my lungs expand, I feel time expand. I have learned time is timeless in this moment.
For so long I fretted about the past and worried about the future, now they’re gone. No longer omnipresent, they have their place in time. The past has been archived and the future is open to be lived.

I am living through the universe and the universe is living through me, expanding every time I choose to grow. Intricately interwoven, not defined by time or space we travel together on this journey without beginning or end. I feel a deep love for all that is.  A love that is universal. A love that grows as I grow. The love that I am.

  1. Ever get the feeling that life is like being in a funhouse of mirrors so that all the people you see are just reflections of you and vice-versa?

Never thought of a funhouse of mirrors, but yes, I sure get the mirror analogy.
I wrote a post about it some weeks ago: Life is a Mirror .

What intrigues me is what triggered this thought. Care to elaborate?

  3. I’m relatively new to the Toltec path but have been on it long enough that I am starting to understand that the things I like and don’t like in other people are just aspects of who I am so I was able to extrapolate from that the mirror analogy.
Translation: it just seems obvious to me that my understanding of who others are is colored by my belief in who I am.

  5. This: ” am living through the universe and the universe is living through me, expanding every time I choose to grow. Intricately interwoven, not defined by time or space we travel together on this journey without beginning or end. ”

It just seemed to bring up the image of the funhouse mirrors for me. Interwoven, journey together, not defined by time or space. It is a short leap from that to imagining all the faces around me are reflections. I’ll admit that I see things a little differently, but I think that it is a Toltec way of looking.

  6. The love that I am…

There are so many beautiful and wise words in this short and eloquently written post… each sentence is brimming with wisdom… you are a gift…

    Grant,
    Thank you for sharing.
To me, the path of the Toltec is a path to a higher consciousness, as is the path of the Christ or the path of the Buddha. These humans unlocked the gate to Heaven. They were one with God, and their example shows me my way to God. Learning their lessons allows me to grow into who I truly am. A cup of God. We’re all a cup of God.
